ddr4 and ddr5 same slot Hello guys,I've a Dell g15 5520, with only 8Gb ddr5 4800mhz RAM, so i've buyed an extra memory, a Kingston Fury impact with the same specs,  You cannot use DDR5 RAM into DDR4 motherboard socket Since DDR4 and DDR5 memory  But mainstream CPUs still have the same 128-bit total width for their DRAM controllers, so you still need more than one DIMM installed to use
