How I fixed memory slot failure

second slot RAM not detected, help please !!! : rDell ram not detected in slot 2 try reseating the ram sticks first if that doesnt work then take the ram out and boot the system with one stick try this with every ram slot ram slot 2 and 4 Turns out despite my motherboard being brand new, ordered around a week ago, the B2 slot seems to be the issue after testing I don't understand
